From Acme Archives, this special edition cel has been prepared from the original line drawing and transferred to acetate, then hand-colored by a studio artisan. As some may know, the Clone Wars series represents a diversion from traditional animation, in which each cel was designed, transferred to acetate, colored, then photographed. Because coloring is now done in the computer, there is no longer a need for the time-honored acetate cel. However, because fans have demanded them, special one-of-one edition cels produced in the hand-colored tradition are being made available in limited quantities from StarWarsShop.com. Your one of a kind hand painted cel will include the original line drawing from which it was transferred, presented against an acid-free laser reproduced background. This setup will come matted and include a Lucasfilm seal and certificate of authenticity. Overall measurements are approximately 19" x 13" and the piece is shipped flat.
